Skoda has unveiled a new brand logo to refresh the company’s corporate identity. The old 3D logo is being replaced by the new 2D Lettering, which is more accessible and user-friendly in the digital space. As the media transitions from print to digital, such measures are becoming almost mandatory. VW, the parent company, went through this process in 2019.
Skoda New Brand Logo Signifies The Green Future
This new logo minimizes the use of the symbol and emphasizes the lettering ‘SKODA.’ There are two distinct green hues: Emerald and Electric Green, which represent ecology, sustainability, and electromobility, respectively. It represents the electric and digital age, as well as the brand’s desire to change with the times. Beginning in 2024, its models will bear the new Skoda identity. Skoda will invest €5.6 billion in e-mobility and €700 million in digitalization over the next five years to prepare for electrification.

The maximum charging capacity will be an impressive 200 kW, allowing for quick DC fast charging times. Skoda wants to electrify 70% of its models in Europe by 2030, which is a lofty goal.
Following the disruption of operations in Russia, India has already emerged as a key market for the Czech automaker. After Germany and the Czech Republic, India is Skoda’s largest market, and the company hopes to maintain that momentum and bring quality products to our market in the future. Let us hope that we will be able to test the Czech automaker’s future electric vehicles almost as soon as they are released in the European market.
