1. Maruti Suzuki Jimny

The Maruti Suzuki Jimny is set to make its Indian debut at the Auto Expo 2023, competing with rivals such as the Thar and the Gurkha. It is expected to start at Rs 10 lakh and will be equipped with a 1.5L K15C petrol engine and Suzuki’s AllGrip Pro AWD system.
2. Mahindra Thar 5-Door

The Mahindra Thar is currently one of the best-selling 4X4 SUVs in the country, and the company plans to release a new 5-door version of the SUV soon. The new 5-door Thar will be larger in size and will share the same platform and powertrain options as the current Thar. In India, it is expected to cost between Rs 15 and Rs 16 lakh.
3. Mahindra XUV400

The new XUV400 will be launched in the country in late January 2023 and will be offered with a 110 kW electric motor with a rated torque output of 310 Nm. This motor draws power from a 39.5 kWh battery pack and will offer a claimed range of around 456 km on a single charge. It is expected to be priced between Rs 17-18 lakh and will compete with rivals such as the Tata Nexon EV and the MG ZS EV.

4. Maruti YTB Crossover

The new YTB debuted at the 2020 Auto Expo and will soon make its Indian debut. It is based on the Maruti Baleno and will be available in the country with similar powertrain options and features. The YTB is expected to cost between Rs 7-8 lakh in India (ex-showroom).
5. MG Small EV

MG recently confirmed plans to introduce a new compact EV in the country for buyers looking for a cost-effective and practical electric vehicle. This new electric car in India will compete with rivals such as the Tiago EV and will be available in a two-door body style. The British automaker will soon release additional information.
6. Honda Compact SUV

It’s no secret that Honda is currently developing a number of SUVs, including an all-new compact SUV for the Indian market. This new compact SUV will be built on the same platform as the Amaze sedan and will most likely be powered by a 1.5L NA petrol engine. It will compete in the country with rivals such as the Hyundai Venue and the Kia Sonet and is expected to be priced between Rs 8 and Rs 9 lakh (ex-showroom).
7. Hyundai Verna Next Gen

The new Hyundai Verna is expected to make its debut at the 2023 Auto Show, with a new platform, updated exterior styling, and an all-new cabin that will help it compete with rivals such as the Honda City, VW Virtus, and Skoda Slavia. In the country, it will be available with 1.5L NA petrol, 1.5L turbo petrol, and 1.5L diesel engine options.
8. MG Hector Facelift

The new MG Hector facelift is also expected to arrive in the country soon, with an updated front fascia and a slew of new features. It will continue to offer buyers similar cabin and powertrain options while being slightly more expensive than the current iteration.
9. Honda mid-size SUV

Honda is also expected to launch a new mid-size SUV to compete with rivals such as the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, Kia Seltos, Toyota Hyryder, VW Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, and MG Astor. This SUV will have the same underpinnings and powertrain options as the Honda City sedan, as well as a premium and feature-rich interior.
