The Volvo EX30 Cross-Country is Unveiled: Gets Greater Ground Clearance

Volvo has introduced the EX30 Cross Country, an electric SUV designed for tough terrain. As the first Volvo EV to be branded as “Cross Country,” this model, like previous Cross Country versions, receives a number of upgrades over the base model that are consistent with its moniker. Along with a variety of aesthetic adjustments that give it a more sturdy appearance, they include increased ground clearance.

Volvo EX30: Design

The EX30’s core visual design is still there, with the split tail lamp arrangement with C-shaped lighting characteristics and the same “Thor’s Hammer” headlights with DRLs. The black panel above the headlamps, which features carvings of the Kebnekaise mountain range in Arctic Sweden, is a distinctive stylistic statement. Additionally, the car is equipped with stronger front and rear skid plates. The EV is equipped with a roof rack, 18-inch alloy wheels, all-terrain tires, and extensive cladding around the wheel arches. Compared to the basic model, the car’s ground clearance has increased by 19 mm.

Volvo EX30: Interior

The EX30 Cross Country’s interior design is the same as that of the basic model, with a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system that is angled in portrait mode. There are hardly any buttons or knobs on the EV’s dashboard. Google is integrated into the infotainment screen, and Google Maps is displayed.
