If you want to get your hands on a Yamaha motorcycle or scooter, here is the price list for November 2022. Yamaha launched the MotoGP edition of the Yamaha Aerox 155 at Rs 1,41,300 (ex-showroom Delhi), making it only Rs 2,000 more expensive than the standard variant.
Yamaha Aerox 155 Price
The Yamaha Aerox 155 retails at Rs 1,40,800. At this price, you get to choose between three colors: Metallic Black, Grey Vermillion, and Racing Blue. The MotoGP edition will cost you Rs 1,42,800 (both prices ex-showroom Delhi).
Yamaha Aerox 155 Features
The Aerox 155 is packed with features. The list includes LED illumination, a digital LCD instrument cluster, smartphone connectivity via Yamaha’s Y-connect app, and single-channel ABS. In addition, you also get an external fuel filler cap, a multi-function keyhole, a front storage pocket, and a 24.5-liter under-seat storage.
As the suffix suggests, the Yamaha Aerox 155 is powered by a 155cc engine, borrowed from… you guessed it, the YZF-R15! The engine retains the variable valve actuation but makes 15PS, which is 4PS less than the R15, but which still makes it the most powerful sub-200cc scooter currently on sale in India.
Yamaha Aerox 155 Suspension & Brakes
The Aerox 155 rolls on 14-inch tyres sprung on a telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers. With a 790mm seat height and 126kg kerb weight, it is fairly accessible too. Its ground clearance, though, is a bit low at 145mm. For braking prowess, the Aerox employs a 230mm disc up front along with a 130mm drum brake at the rear.
Yamaha Aerox 155 Rivals
The Aerox primarily rivals the Aprilia SVR 160 but fails to match the Aerox’s features or power figures. For a similar price, one can also go green and get the Ola S1 Pro or the Ather 450X electric scooter.
