The 400-hp Raptor’s starting price of $69,995 fits in neatly between the prices of the 450-hp F-150 Raptor and the 470-hp Wrangler 392.
The new 2022 Ford Bronco Raptor is (at least for now) the ultimate version of the Ford Bronco, with a base price of $69,995—nearly $20,000 more than a basic Bronco Wildtrak four-door vehicle. Ford has yet to reveal information about options and trim levels, but we expect a fully loaded model will cost more over $80,000. The Raptor is only available as a four-door with a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V-6 engine that produces roughly 400 horsepower, according to Ford.
- The 2022 Ford Bronco Raptorcarries a starting price of $69,995.
- Ford has yet to release option prices or details about trim levels, but we imagine a fully equipped model will be considerably more expensive.
- Ford says deliveries will begin this summer, and those with an existing Bronco order can choose to upgrade to the Raptor.
The Bronco Raptor has a little higher beginning price than the F-150 Raptor pickup, which starts at $67,070. The F-150 has a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V-6 engine that produces 450 horsepower, providing it a power advantage over the Bronco. However, the Bronco Raptor comes standard with 37-inch tyres, whereas a 2022 F-150 Raptor requires the addition of two costly options to receive equal 37-inch rubber: the $5250 37 Performance package and the $6150 801A package, which boost the truck’s price to $78,470.
The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392, which boasts a 6.4-liter V-8 that produces 470 horsepower, is another important point of comparison. The Rubicon is more expensive than the Bronco Raptor, with a starting price of $76,395. This is to be expected given its increased power. The Wrangler 392 is equipped with 33-inch tyres as standard, with a 35-inch tyre option available as part of the $3995 Xtreme Recon package.
The 2022 Bronco Raptor will begin delivery this summer, according to Ford. Customers who have already placed a Bronco purchase will be given the option to upgrade to a Raptor.
