New-gen Hyundai Tucson will make its local debut on July 13, 2022 and it gets a whole host of changes inside and out with a more advanced
On July 13, 2022, Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) will unveil the new generation Tucson in India for the first time. The worldwide fourth-generation Tucson will come in India before the Ioniq 5 electric car, which is scheduled to arrive later this year, as previously said. Before the official pricing announcement, bookings for the all-new Tucson are likely to begin in the coming weeks.
The latest Hyundai Tucson, which is available in India, debuted at the 2020 Auto Show, but the luxury SUV received a complete new generation with drastic visual and interior improvements in September 2020. It foreshadowed a new Hyundai SUV lineup based on the Sensuous Sportiness design philosophy in other markets.

The upcoming Creta facelift, the next-generation Verna, and the newly released Venue facelift all share the same design approach. The new Tucson will compete against the Jeep Compass, VW Tiguan, Skoda Kodiaq, and Citroen C5 Aircross when it debuts. We don’t expect any performance modifications, since the 2.0-litre petrol and 2.0-litre diesel engines will most likely remain same.
The transmission choices could be carried over as well from the outgoing model as a six-speed manual and a six-speed torque converter AT could be utilised. The exterior will be one of the key highlights of the new-gen Hyundai Tucson and the interior will also likely pack a long list of features pertaining to comfort, entertainment, connectivity, assistance and safety.
