The mid-size Porsche Cayenne welcomes an atmospheric luxury trim for 2022.
Porsche’s flagship Panamera is no longer the sole Porsche model with a luxurious Platinum Edition trim level. For 2022, the Platinum Edition package will also be available on the Cayenne SUV and coupe body variants. Despite its name, Porsche’s mid-Platinum sizer’s Edition has no parts of the prior metal it is named for, instead opting for stunning platinum-painted accents.

Porsche coats a number of the vehicle’s logos, as well as its fascia-mounted intake treatment and distinctive 21-inch wheels, in Satin Platinum paint for the Cayenne Platinum Edition. The model’s black exhaust tips and window trim provide an added air of menacing.
Do you want to spice up your Cayenne Platinum Edition with some colour? Then we hope you like dark brown or blue, but if not, you’ll have to settle for black, white, or light grey (Chalk in Porsche-speak). The Cayenne Platinum Edition features Chalk-colored seatbelts, textured metal interior trim, and model-specific brushed-aluminum kick plates, regardless of exterior colour.
The Platinum Edition SUV starts at $80,350, which is $10,000 more than the basic Cayenne SUV (the Platinum Edition coupe, on the other hand, starts at $84,650, which is $5800 more than the standard Cayenne coupe). The extra cash, on the other hand, gets the Platinum Edition a slew of extras that aren’t included in lower Cayennes. Swiveling LED headlights, a panoramic sunroof, Bose premium audio, eight-way power sport seats, and ambient interior lighting are just a few of the features available. The E-Hybrid coupe, priced at $95,150, and the Cayenne S coupe, priced at $96,950, are the most expensive Platinum variants.
The 335-hp Cayenne, 434-hp Cayenne S, and 455-hp Cayenne E-Hybrid versions of the 2022 Porsche Cayenne Platinum Edition SUV and coupe will go on sale this summer.
