Cadillac designated the first 250 builds of both the CT4-V Blackwing and CT5-V Blackwing models as V-Series Collector’s Series when they were released last year. On the sills and B-pillars of every one of the unique cars manufactured are serialised plates. The CT5-V Blackwing 120th Anniversary Edition was then unveiled by Cadillac this year as a part of the Collector’s Series.
To celebrate Cadillac’s victories in the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship, the American manufacturer is now adding the CT4-V Blackwing Track Editions to the V-Series Collector’s Series. The three distinct tastes of the limited, special edition models set them out from not only one another but also from the other Blackwings on the road.
These limited edition models don’t have any mechanical upgrades. The 2023 CT4-V Blackwing Track Editions, which are all based on the CT4-V Blackwing from the previous year but are each unique and have different manufacturing schedules, debut as the Watkins Glen IMSA Edition, Sebring IMSA Edition, and Road Atlanta IMSA Editions. Let’s first talk about what the three have in common.
Outside decals from Mondrian, IMSA emblems, and variant-specific brake callipers are included with each of the three Track Editions. Each car’s rarity is marked by serialised plates on the B-pillar and steering wheel, while the inside is finished with carbon fibre front seatbacks, a shifter medallion, and sill plates.
The electric blue exterior paint for the Watkins Glen IMSA Edition was inspired by the pale blue guardrails that surround the track. The 12 Hours of Sebring endurance race served as the inspiration for the Sebring IMSA Edition, which is completed in Maverick Noir Frost. Interior accents in Sky Cool Gray and Signet are available for both vehicles.
The Road Atlanta IMSA Edition, on the other hand, is the most distinctive of the three thanks to its Radiant Red side mirror caps and rocker moulding pinstripes in addition to its Rift Metallic exterior paint treatment. Adrenaline Red inside trim is exclusively offered on this particular Track Edition model.
The price of the 2023 CT4-V Blackwing Track Editions has not yet been disclosed. There will only be 99 of each model made, with the Watkins Glen IMSA Edition being the first to go into production between October and December 2022. The Road Atlanta IMSA Edition will be produced from February to March 2023, while the Sebring IMSA Edition is scheduled for January 2023.
Ordering for the 2023 CT4-V Blackwing Track Editions will begin on August 1, 2022, according to a recent announcement by Cadillac. Cadillac dealers ought to have availability information available. m.
