Tata Motors recently introduced the 2023 Safari in India, with a beginning price of Rs 15.65 lakh (ex-showroom). The car is available with the same BS6 Phase 2 and E20 compliant diesel engine. The 2023 Safari is offered in six trim levels: XE, XM, XMS, XT+ XZ, and XZ+. In Mumbai, the wait times for all versions range from two to four weeks. For contrast, the waiting times for some of its competitors, including the Mahindra XUV700 and Toyota Innova Hycross, are up to 48 and 78 weeks, respectively.
In addition, the Safari now has ADAS, a 360-degree surround video, a new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, a seven-inch digital instrument cluster, and other features. Not only that, but the company has also unveiled a new Red Dark Edition of the SUV, which adds red accents to the Dark version that is already available for purchase.
