BMW India has introduced one of its most powerful vehicles in recent years, the 2024 BMW M4 Competition. This new high-performance coupe is equipped with BMW’s xDrive all-wheel drive technology and the now-famous S58 six-cylinder turbo engine. The M4 Competition will be offered in the nation as a CBU variant.
2024 BMW M4 Competition Engine
The turbocharged S58 six-cylinder in-line petrol engine from BMW’s M division powers it. This high-revving 3.0-liter engine is combined with BMW’s all-wheel drive system, xDrive. The engine produces 530bhp and 650Nm of peak torque, accelerating from 0 to 100kmph in under 3.5 seconds. An eight-speed automatic transmission distributes power to all four wheels. Both automatic and manual modes provide three unique setups: comfort-oriented, sports-focused, and track-optimized.

The setup button on the center console allows you to quickly access the engine, chassis, steering, and braking system settings, as well as traction control. To change the engine’s characteristics, choose the Efficient, Sport, and Sport Plus settings, while the Comfort, Sport, or Sport Plus chassis mode provides access to the three electronically controlled damper settings.
2024 BMW M4 Competition Price
The 2024 M4 Competition costs Rs 1.53 crore ex-showroom. In terms of price, the Porsche Cayman and 911 basic models are the closest competitors.
