Royal Enfield is currently developing a number of new motorcycles for the Indian two-wheeler market, including the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450.
The forthcoming bike, according to recent media sources, would be built on a new platform and will include a trellis frame. In addition, the current Himalayan will have a strong effect on the new design.
The RE Himalayan 450 will be driven by an all-new liquid-cooled engine capable of delivering more than 45 horsepower, but it will only produce roughly 40 horsepower in the adventure motorcycle since Royal Enfield has focused on improving low and mid-range performance.
The engine will be mated to a six-speed transmission, and the forthcoming ADV will come standard with a slipper clutch and dual-channel ABS.
The Himalayan 450 will be positioned as a hardcore middleweight ADV, thus it will have a few characteristics that might make it a really exciting bike. We expect the next motorcycle to have characteristics like center-set pegs, a lengthy single-seat layout, and an easy-to-reach handlebar when it comes to comfort and seating ergonomics.
In terms of release, we may anticipate the bike hitting Indian roads in the first quarter of 2023. Click on the image below to learn more about the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450.
