Royal Enfield may introduce a new variant of the Himalayan

The Royal Enfield Himalayan received minor tweaks in 2021, however now Royal Enfield also working on new variant of Royal Enfield. From the picture snapped it seems like a Himalayan, but obviously spotted with some minor changes. Focusing more on the video part we also think Himalayan will be going to more road biased. From what we can make out, the test mule looks almost ready for production, so it could only be a matter of months before this bike is announced.

Other details we’ve regarding this new Royal Enfield Himalayan that it doesn’t have the tubular steel, luggage (or extra fuel can) carriers flanking the fuel tank. On the alternate in snapped picture it seems that it has sports a pair of extension. Major missing on this new Royal Enfield Himalayan as it didn’t get  front windscreen, as well as front fork gaiters. It’s its definitely going to be a everyday tourer, rather than being pure off-road adventure touring bike.

The test mule of the Himalayan misses the front sub-frame, across the fuel tank. Also different is the tail section, which seems more compact

Looking on the technical part the engine remains the same 411cc, single cylinder mill used on the current Himalayan. What also supports the road-oriented variant theory is the use of a smaller 19-inch front wheel, rather than the 21-inch front wheel of the current Himalayan.

Currently only this much data is available about this upcoming bike from all the spyshot leaks and other official data. However, we hope we’ll more data definitely out by the end of this year. However, overall we won’t be wrong that this new Himalayan is more lighter, accessible, lighter, affordable, and easy to ride for newer riders, offering a variant that will be a lot more tarmac- and city-focussed.
