The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga 2022 will be unveiled on April 21st. Bookings for the 2022 Ertiga have already begun at a cost of Rs. 11,000 each. As of now, we know that the Ertiga will be equipped with a new engine and transmission. The variation list and color possibilities, however, have already been leaked online.
2022 Maruti Ertiga Variants
The Ertiga will be available in four different versions in 2022. LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi+ will be available. For commercial purposes, there will also be a Tour M edition. Automatic transmission will be available on the VXi, ZXi, and ZXi+ models. The CNG powerplant will now be available on the VXi, ZXi, and Tour M models. Previously, the CNG was only available in the VXi trim. (Ambien)
2022 Maruti Ertiga Colour Options
The Ertiga will be available in seven different colors. Pearl Arctic White, Magma Grey, Auburn Red, and Prime Oxford Blue will be available. Pearl Dignity Brown and Midnight Black are the new colors for 2022. The Silky Silver has been replaced by the Splendid Silver.
Customised Maruti Ertiga Interior Looks Beautiful
The new 1.5-liter four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine will power the Ertiga in 2022. The engine is largely the same as the present 1.5-liter engine, but instead of one injector per cylinder, the manufacturer now uses two injectors per cylinder. This aids in the improvement of fuelling control.
The power output will be boosted by 10 Ps as a result of the enhancements. As a result, the engine’s maximum power output will be 115 PS. When compared to the existing engine, the current engine produces 105 PS. The new engine’s torque output is currently unknown, but we expect it to be about 140 nm.

New Gearbox
The 2022 Ertiga comes equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission. The 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission, which takes the place of the 4-speed torque converter automatic transmission, is a new addition. Furthermore, there would be paddle shifters positioned behind the steering wheel for manual transmission control.
Maruti Suzuki first introduced the 4-speed automatic transmission on the Grand Vitara XL7 in 2003. The existing transmission does not have enough gears or a sports mode. The new 6-speed device will also be speedier than the current unit in terms of response. The gearbox should help with fuel economy as well because it has more gears.
More New Features
The Ertiga will also get extra features from Maruti Suzuki. It will be equipped with a new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which will be the same size as the present unit. It will, however, run a new user interface similar to the one seen on the Baleno. The SmartPlay Pro system is the name given to it by Maruti Suzuki.
A revamped multi-information display, cruise control, a new steering wheel, a revised dashboard design, and modified upholstery are all expected for the Ertiga. Keyless entry, push-button engine start/stop, multi-function steering wheel, automated climate control, and other features will be available.
