According to its top executive, Lamborghini has already sold out all of its production vehicles through early 2024. Despite the global economic downturn, the Italian manufacturer has kept its order book full due to the high demand it is experiencing around the world. The lengthy wait times for its models are also greatly influenced by the chip shortage.
The flamboyant sportscar manufacturer is developing hybrid versions of every model it plans to release by 2024, and the first all-electric Lambo will go on sale in the second half of this decade. In a recent interview, Winkelmann stated that numerous new models are being created with the primary ingredients of high performance and extravagant design.
Lamborghini recorded its highest volume sales ever for a six-month period earlier this year, along with significant profits and an operating margin of 32%. As 5,090 units were sold for retail, the operating profit increased to 425 million euros (Rs. 3,387 crore). Ferrari, its primary rival, also saw record sales and the highest orders ever in the second quarter.

Due to the Urus’s popularity in India, Lamborghini plans to launch its first hybrid model locally next year and hopes to quickly import any vehicles that are launched internationally. Before the end of this decade, it is anticipated that the company will introduce its first BEV to India.
The Huracan Tecnica was just three days ago introduced domestically with a starting price of Rs. 4.04 crore (ex-showroom) and will make its debut internationally in April 2022. Its quick four-month launch in India highlights Lambo’s dedication to regional customers. The models are imported with high import taxes and sold here through the CBU route.
