Ultraviolette F77 Colours
Ultraviolette F77 is available in 3 colours: Airstrike, Laser and Shadow.
The Ultraviolette F77 is India’s most powerful and fastest electric bike currently on sale. It also offers one of the highest ranges among electric bikes in India. After much anticipation, the Bengaluru-based startup launched the F77 electric motorcycle in India, and here’s all that you need to know.
Ultraviolette F77 Engine
Powering the F77 Recon is a 29kW electric motor producing 95Nm and claiming a top speed of 147kmph, with a 0-60kmph acceleration time of 3 seconds. It gets the largest battery pack on any electric two-wheeler in the country of 10.5kWh, weighing about 70kg. It claims a whopping 307km of IDC (Indian Driving Cycle) range, more than any other electric scooter or motorcycle in India. The standard variant gets a slightly smaller motor and battery pack – 27kW and 7.1kWh respectively. Producing 85Nm, the standard F77 claims a top speed of 140kmph and does the 0-60kmph run in 3.4 seconds. The special edition F77 variant is powered by a bigger 30.2kW motor with 100Nm of torque capable of 152kmph of top speed. It can do the 0-60kmph sprint in just 2.9 seconds. Underpinnings include a trellis frame with the battery pack as a stressed member. The e-bike is suspended on an upside down fork and monoshock. On the Recon and special edition variants, both the USD fork and monoshock get preload adjustability, whereas on the standard variant only the monoshock gets the adjustability. All three trims of the F77 roll on special MRF radial tyres. Braking is done via discs at both ends with switchable dual-channel ABS as standard.
F77 can go upto 307 km/charge after a full charge.
Ultraviolette F77 Charging Time
F77 battery takes 5 Hours to get charged.
Ultraviolette F77 Variants
The Ultraviolette F77 is currently sold in two major variants – standard and Recon. On the other hand, only 77 units of the ‘Limited’ edition variant were made and it is already sold out.
Ultraviolette F77 Design
The Ultraviolette F77 follows a streetfighter theme but with full side fairings that is designed to look seamless. The sleek LED headlight comes with signature V-shaped LED DRLs making it look quite premium. Further raising the quotient of sportiness are the clip-on handlebars and chiseled ‘tank’ which houses the charging port. The fairing design goes hand-in-glove with the rear portion of the bike, which includes a raised tail section with a split-seat setup and a conventional license plate holder.
Ultraviolette F77 Features
The Ultraviolette F77 features a five-inch TFT instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, which also gives ride analytics. Other features include all LED lighting, navigation, geofencing, crash detection, dual-channel ABS, 9-axis IMU and three ride modes: Glide, Combat and Ballistic.
Ultraviolette F77 Competitors
When it comes to rivals, the Ultraviolette F77 does not have any direct competitors. However, you can check out more affordable electric bike alternatives available in India including the Tork Kratos, Revolt RV400, Oben Rorr and the Matter electric bike. However, when it comes to performance, the F77 would rival its petrol-powered counterparts including the BMW G 310 RR and the TVS Apache RR 310, whereas in terms of price it would compete with the Kawasaki Ninja 400.
