4,026 Units Of Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder Recalled Due To Defects – Report

Toyota Kirloskar Motors was forced to recall the Urban Cruiser Hyryder and Glanza a week ago owing to a suspected fault in the airbag assembly controller. The Urban Cruiser Hyryder has now been recalled for the third time since its debut last year.

This time, the brand was forced to recall devices made between August 8, 2022 and November 15, 2022. The recall is being conducted to look into a possible problem with the rear seatbelt assembly. The carmaker will proactively recall a total of 4,026 units of Urban Cruiser Hyryder to replace the concerned/defective item for its customers at no cost.

The authorised dealership will contact each impacted vehicle’s owner directly. Customers can also call their local Toyota dealership for assistance.

In other news, Maruti Suzuki has recalled the Grand Vitara due to a similar problem, as the cars share the same foundations and parts.
