Maruti Suzuki Fronx Crosses 5500 Bookings – See Details
The tiny SUV from Maruti Suzuki, Fronx, was unveiled on 12 January 2023 at the Auto Expo 2023 and has already had over 5,500 bookings before its official introduction. The crossover is planned to be released in the first quarter of fiscal year 2023-24. Furthermore, during the first 10 days of its introduction, the Fronx had received over 2,500 bookings.
The Fronx has two gasoline engine choices under the hood. The 1.2-litre K-Series DualJet, Dual VVT engine generates 89bhp and 113Nm of torque and is paired to either a five-speed manual or a five-speed AMT gearbox. The new 1.0-litre K-Series turbo petrol engine, on the other hand, produces 99bhp and 147.6Nm of torque and is available with either a five-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission.
It comes in five different flavours: Sigma, Delta, Delta+, Zeta, and Alpha. Customers interested in the crossover may select from six monotone and three dual-tone variants. Nexa Blue, Arctic White, Grandeur Grey, Earthen Brown, Opulent Red, and Splendid Silver are among the monotone colour possibilities. Earthen Brown with Bluish Black roof, Opulent Red with Bluish Black roof, and Splendid Silver with Bluish Black roof are the dual-tone colour possibilities.
The nine-inch Smartplay Pro+ with Arkamys-powered surround sense, a head-up display, a 360-degree camera, a dual-tone interior theme, paddle shifters in automatic variant, wireless charging, hill hold assist and rollover mitigation, ABS with EBD, and brake assist are among the key feature highlights.
