Kia Seltos Facelift To Be Launch In India By October 2023
The Kia Seltos, which debuted in 2019, has been in desperate need of an upgrade. While the redesigned Seltos was introduced last year for worldwide markets, the carmaker has recently indicated that the Seltos facelift would be available in India in mid-2023. It will have fresh external style, a revamped interior, and new features.
Exterior features of the 2023 Kia Seltos
The new Kia Seltos will have the same silhouette as before, but with a new face. The front grille’s iconic tiger nose will be flanked by updated LED headlights with new DRLs that extend into the grille. In addition, the front and rear bumpers will be redesigned, and the alloy wheels will get a new dual-tone silver and black finish. The back appearance will be updated as well, with new tail lights and a connecting light bar in the centre.
Interior improvements for the 2023 Kia Seltos
Inside, the new Seltos will keep the big 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and the completely digital instrument cluster found on the Kia Carens. The Seltos is also likely to come standard with a 360-degree camera, a panoramic sunroof, an automated parking brake, and ADAS features.
Kia Seltos 2023: New powertrains
The Seltos is now offered with 1.5-litre petrol, 1.4-litre turbo-petrol, and 1.5-litre diesel engines. The 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine, on the other hand, will be phased out, and the remaining two engines will be modified to meet BS6 2 standards. There will be six-speed manual, CVT, and six-speed automatic transmission choices.
