TVS Apache RTR 160 2V Black Edition model has been launched in India. The bike has a brand-new color scheme, with the whole bodywork painted, well, black. This gives the Apache RTR 160 a stealthy look while highlighting its sleek form even more.
Aside from the new paint color, the TVS Apache RTR 160 2V Black Edition’s design is similar to the normal bike. It has the same chiseled LED headlights, a muscular fuel tank, a single seat with contrasting red stitching, and a split seat.
TVS Apache RTR 160 Engine
The new Apache Black Edition is powered by the same 159.7cc single-cylinder engine. It produces 15.82 horsepower and 13.85 Nm and is mated to a five-speed transmission. The Apache RTR 160 2V comes with three riding modes: rain, urban, and sport, as well as TVS SmartXonnect with voice assistance. Aside from that, the bike features a front disc and rear drum braking arrangement.
It has traditional telescopic front forks and twin gas-charged rear shocks. The brakes are installed on 17-inch wheels with 90/90 front and 110/80-17 rear tyres. However, the rear disc brake model receives a 120/70 rear tire. Furthermore, the regular bike’s Bluetooth connectivity is limited to the rear disc brake variant. So the Black edition should follow suit.

The asking price for the TVS Apache RTR 160 2V Black Edition is Rs. 1,20,420 (ex-showroom Delhi). It competes with the Bajaj Pulsar NS160, Hero Xtreme 160R, and the Pulsar N160.
