With good reason, SUVs are the most popular car type in America. There are a ton of fashionable, functional, cozy, and technologically advanced modern alternatives available. Even more intriguing options will be available in the market over the next years, with many new SUVs debuting as early as next year.
Large plans are in store for the SUV lineups of companies including Ford, Hyundai, and BMW by 2025. The upcoming possibilities include off-road vehicles, performance SUVs, tiny EVs, and luxurious three-row vehicles. There will be no shortage of diversity among the SUVs that hit the market the following year.
BMW Neue Klasse SUV
BMW will launch the new cars in its revised EV lineup the following year. An electric SUV based on the Vision Neue Klasse X concept from earlier this year will be the second Neue Klasse vehicle, the first of which will be an electric 3 Series. The new CLAR architecture from BMW, which also powers the i5 and i7 electric sedans, will support the electric SUV, which will be sized like an X5.

Expect lights as well, including surrounds for the headlights, a horizontal strip that runs across the grille, and a plethora of LEDs up front.
In addition to a luxurious interior and a computerized dashboard with physical controls, the new Palisade will likely come with a 2.5-liter hybrid four-cylinder engine or a 3.5-liter V-6 turbocharged engine. It should be released early in 2019.
Toyota FJ Cruiser
In Toyota’s lineup, the FJ Cruiser will be positioned underneath the Land Cruiser. The carmaker gave a sneak peek at the new SUV more than a year ago. It looks to take styling influences from the Compact Cruiser EV, which featured a boxy shape and a lot of plastic cladding to protect the body panels.

Tesla Model Y

Nissan Leaf
