At Rs 1.31 crore, Mahindra Thar Roxx VIN 0001 Sold 

From September 15 to September 16, the Mahindra Thar Roxx’s first customer unit was up for sale. An astounding Rs 1.31 crore was bid for the Thar Roxx with serial number “VIN 0001” at the end of the bidding. Depending on the winner’s preference, one of the four non-profit organizations will get the auction proceeds.

When the 3-door Thar went up for auction in 2020, the larger Thar brought in a greater offer of Rs 1.11 crore. This sum was provided at the time to help COVID-19 relief organizations. The winning bidder for the three-door Thar was Akash Minda, a resident of New Delhi.

VIN 0001 Thar Roxx?

Mahindra decided to put the top-of-the-line AX7 L diesel automatic 4WD Thar Roxx up for sale. In addition to the ‘VIN 0001’ designation, this first Thar Roxx customer unit contains a badge bearing Anand Mahindra’s signature. Mahindra has not yet revealed which color of the Thar Roxx is up for auction, even though the carmaker is able to select any color.

Features including auto air conditioning, heated front seats, a 6-way powered driver’s seat, a panoramic sunroof, and dual 10.25-inch screens (infotainment and digital driver’s display) are included in this top-spec version of the larger Thar. Six airbags, a 360-degree camera, an automated parking brake, and a full complement of level 2 advanced driver assistance systems are all part of its safety package (ADAS).

The Mahindra Thar Roxx is priced between Rs 12.99 lakh to Rs 20.49 lakh (ex-showroom, introductory, India). Keep in mind that Mahindra has not yet revealed the costs for the Thar Roxx 4WD versions. It competes with the Maruti Jimny and the Force Gurkha 5-door.
