The Vantage, an Aston Martin sports coupe with two doors, has made its Indian debut. The cost of the British supercar, ex-showroom, is Rs. 3.99 crore. The redesigned Vantage has a new interior, an improved powerplant, and modified external style. The same is scheduled to be delivered starting in Q4 of 2024.
The Vantage is powered by a Mercedes-AMG 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine under the hood. An eight-speed automatic gearbox calibrated to produce 656 horsepower and 800 Nm of peak torque is mated to this powerplant. With this power output, the Vantage can reach a top speed of 325 mph in just 3.5 seconds and sprint from zero to 100 mph.
With its bigger grille that nearly completely encloses the front bumper, vertical air curtains on either end of the bumper, and powerful LED headlamps, the new Vantage has an assertive attitude in terms of design. The two-door coupe also receives a diffuser, updated fender air ducts, a slightly modified rear bumper, and 21-inch alloy wheels coated in satin silver.
The new Vantage’s cabin has seen the most modifications. It now has a redesigned cockpit and fresh inside trim. The new Vantage’s interior, which was influenced by Mercedes, has been replaced with custom components. One such piece is a 10.25-inch infotainment screen that is powered by a new user interface with capabilities including 3D live mapping and wireless smartphone connectivity. Then there’s the 15-speaker sound system from Bowers and Wilkins, a redesigned steering wheel, physical toggles for most settings, automatic climate control, power seats, and more.
