Auto Expo 2023: Lexus India Displays LM 300h MPV
- More likely to be sold later this year
- Has a platform in common with the Toyota Vellfire
At the Delhi Auto Expo 2023, Lexus India unveiled the LM 300h, an MPV based on the Toyota Vellfire. Later in the year, the opulent MPV will go on sale. The LM 300h is more opulent on the inside than its sister because it is based on that model.
The design language used by the Vellfire and the Lexus LM is the same. Its upright and boxy form helps to distinguish it as a luxury MPV. It has a chrome spindle grille up front, which is accented by sleek LED headlights and L-shaped LED DRLs. The entire front fascia is heavily chrome-accented.
The LED tail lights at the back of the car are distinctively shaped and span the width of the car like a bat’s wing.
The LM has a completely private jet-like feel within the cabin. The front and back seats in the four-seater variant, which was on show, are divided by a pronounced divider. A centre console with several controls for features and amenities, such as audio control, seat adjustments, climate control, and more, separates the back’s reclining and ventilated captain seats from the front seats.
To give the passengers a lounge-like feel, the cabin also has a huge 26-inch display, a refrigerator, and other creature comforts. Although the display vehicle at the ceremony had four seats, there will also be a seven-seater version available when it arrives in India.
In the meantime, premium automaker Lexus debuted new models such the RX, LX SUV, LF-Z, and LF-30 ideas in addition to the LM 300h MPV.
