The Atto 3’s 500,000th unit has now left BYD’s Chinese manufacturing facility. The flagship crossover’s production has reached this milestone in just 19 months since its release. One of the most popular BEVs to date, the Atto 3 has sold well in nations like India, Singapore, New Zealand, Brazil, Thailand, Sweden, and Israel.
For the Atto 3, BYD uses its Blade Battery Technology and the company’s e-Platform 3.0. It has a 60.48kWh battery pack that has an ARAI-claimed range of 512 kilometres on a single fully charged battery and can be charged from empty to 80% capacity in 50 minutes using an 80kW DC fast charger.
The 500,000th Atto 3 has now rolled out of BYD’s Chinese manufacturing plant. In just 19 months since its debut, the flagship crossover’s production has reached this milestone.
