Citroen C3 Electric Hatchback
The charging port for the vehicle could have been placed on the fender, similar to what we saw in the Mahindra XUV400. Citroen does not appear to be making many changes to the car’s exterior design. Citroen C3 is a brand-new hatchback designed specifically for Indian conditions. We doubt that the electric version of the car will be changed because it is a new product. The electric version may have a closed grille in front like other SUVs, but the rest of the car is likely to remain the same.
This is just an assumption, and there’s a chance Citroen will make EV-specific changes to the car. According to reports, Citroen will most likely launch the electric hatchback in India by the end of this year. Citroen is expected to unveil the C3 electric in December this year, showcase the car at the Auto Expo next year, and put the car on the market sometime next year. The petrol version of the Citroen C3 hatchback costs Rs 5.7 lakh ex-showroom and goes up to Rs 8.05 lakh ex-showroom. The electric C3 will undoubtedly be more expensive than the gasoline version.
