Fast & Furious Actor Sung Kang Tried Royal Enfield GT 650 & Interceptor

Han Lue recently shared photos on Instagram of Sung Kang, who is best known for his part in the Fast and Furious franchise. The photos were taken while he was visiting Royal Enfield’s R&D facility in England. He may be seen inspecting many Royal Enfield motorcycles.

Sung checked out the Continental GT finished in Ventura Blue. This colour scheme is now discontinued and is replaced by Ventura Storm. He also checks out the SG650 Concept that was revealed at EICMA last year. Moreover, he can also be seen sitting on a vintage Royal Enfield motorcycle.

The Shotgun 650 is believed to be the latest bobber based on the SG650 Concept. The new motorcycle will be built on the same chassis as the Super Meteor 650. The motorcycle has a single seat and is done in silver and black with blue highlights, as can be seen. The Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 engines will be used.

It has a circular LED tail lamp, a teardrop fuel tank, and an LED headlamp with a cowl. It has upside-down front forks and dual gas chargers in the back. LED turn indicators, wide tyres, and bar-end mirrors are also included. The exhaust pipes, headers, and engine are all blacked out. The exhaust design is brand new, and we haven’t seen it on a production motorbike before.

Continental GT 650

The current flagship of Royal Enfield is the Continental GT 650 which is the spiritual successor of the Continental GT 535. It is a cafe racer and many people consider it to be one of the best looking motorcycles. It comes with a 648 cc air-oil cooled petrol engine that produces 47.45 PS of power at 7,100 rpm, with a peak torque of 52 Nm at 5,200 rpm. It is a parallel-twin engine that gets fuel injection and a 270-degree crank. Moreover, there is a counter-balancer that ensures the engine stays smooth and vibration-free.
