The Honda Shine Celebration Edition was unexpectedly released by Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India, with prices starting at Rs. 78,878. (ex-showroom, New Delhi). It costs Rs. 1500 more than the corresponding regular variant.
With its Golden theme, which includes Golden stripes, the Golden wing mark emblem, the Celebration Edition logo on the tank top, etc., the new Celebration Edition has a brand-new appearance.
Honda Shine Celebration Edition Colors
A new Saddle Brown seat, a Matte Axis Grey Metallic muffler cover, Golden accents on the side covers, and a Golden garnish at the front are also added to the bike. There are two colours available: Matte Steel Black Metallic and Matte Sangria Red Metallic.
Like the current model, the new special edition is offered with front drum and disc brakes. The Honda Shine is currently the third most popular 2-wheeler in the nation, selling more than a lakh units each month. Honda sold a staggering 1,25,947 units of the Shine and SP125 together in June 2022, with year-over-year growth of 75%.
Honda Shine Celebration Edition Engine and Power
A 123.94 cc engine with a 5-speed gearbox and 10.59 HP at 7500 RPM and 11 Nm at 6000 RPM provides the power. The Bajaj CT125X, which was recently introduced, has a typical long stroke configuration with a bore and stroke measuring 50 mm and 63.1 mm, respectively.
On a Diamond frame with telescopic shocks up front and hydraulic units at the back, the engine is mounted as a stressed member. The seat height is 791 mm and the wheelbase is 1285 mm. The kerb weight is 114 kg, and the ground clearance is 162 mm. The tyres are 80/100-18 in size.
