For select international countries, Honda recently unveiled an updated version of its famous Supra GTR 150 scooter. In the Vietnamese market, it is also known as Winner X. The new scooter model has cosmetic changes, but the rest of the specifications stay the same.
The front end of the 2022 Honda Supra GTR 150 has been updated to be more sporty. The scooter has huge wheels and twin front LED headlamps the size of a sportbike to support its aggressive riding position. LED tail lights, a USB charging outlet, and a blue backlit digital instrument cluster are among the scooter’s highlights.
The scooter is equipped with a 150cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that produces a maximum power of 15.4 bhp and a maximum torque of 13.5 nm. The scooter is equipped with a CVT transmission. Honda has fitted the Supra GTR 150 with big 17-inch alloy wheels on both sides, with telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the back handling the suspension chores.
When it comes to the debut of the 2022 Supra GTR 150 in India, Honda 2-Wheelers has no imminent intentions to do so. However, the company may explore a later launch to compete with the Yamaha Aerox 155, which was just introduced in India with an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.31 lakhs.
The Aerox 155 is powered by a 155cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine with VVA technology and a fuel-injection system that produces 15 bhp at 8,000rpm and 13.9 Nm at 6,500rpm. In every way, the Yamaha Aerox 155 competes with the Supra GTR 150, whether it’s in terms of specs or features.
