Jeep Compass Facelift Engine
This 2WD version is powered by a Jeep 2.0-liter Multijet diesel engine with 168 horsepower and 350 nm of torque. The nine-speed automatic is the same one that is offered with higher 4WD AT versions. Jeep claims to be among the fastest in its class with a 0-100kmph timing of 9.8 seconds.
Jeep Compass Facelift Specs
The 18-inch blacked-out wheels, gloss black grille, and black accents on the lower half of the bumper make up the exterior design of the Black Shark package. The inside is all-black with red accents on the dashboard and steering wheel. On these recently released lower spec variations, Jeep is still offering a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, and linked car technology. This 2WD diesel AT has a claimed mileage of 16.2 kmpl according to ARAI.
Jeep Compass Facelift Rivals
The Compass can now compete with the top-tier models of the Hyundai Alcazar, Tata Harrier, and Tata Safari thanks to these new 4X2 diesel AT variants, which also lower the starting price of the Compass. The Compass’s starting price increased dramatically once the petrol engine was discontinued earlier this year, placing it well beyond its long-standing competitors.
