The Kia Carens makeover is set to launch in India next month, while the all-electric version of the MPV will follow two months later in June. The 2025 Carens facelift will have a drastically revamped exterior and interior. The Carens EV will likely be identical in design, albeit with EV-specific alterations.
Kia Carens Facelift 2025: Interior
So far, spy images have not revealed the interior of the Carens makeover, but we can expect small changes to the dashboard, switches, toggles, and buttons, all of which will be shared with the Seltos, as well as additional amenities. The top-tier models will most likely apply Level 2 ADAS and a 360-degree camera.
Kia Carens Facelift 2025: Exterior
Spy images of the Carens facelift haven’t revealed all of the features, but the bonnet line is taller, giving the MPV a more SUV-like appearance. The headlights and daytime running lamps are thought to be similar to those seen on the Syros, while the taillights will most likely be vertically stacked and connected by an LED light bar. The test mule features new-design dual-tone alloy wheels, although they appear to be the same 16-inch size as the previous model.
Kia Carens Facelift 2025: Engine

The Carens comes with three engine options: a 115hp 1.5-litre petrol, a 160hp 1.5-litre direct injection turbo-petrol, and a 116hp 1.5-litre diesel. These are expected to persist during the facelift. While the 115hp petrol engine comes with a 6-speed manual transmission, the turbo-petrol can be ordered with either a 6-speed iMT or a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The diesel engine is available with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
Kia Carens Facelift 2025: Price
Given that the Kia Carens is now priced between Rs 10.60 lakh and Rs 19.70 lakh, the revamped MPV is likely to cost slightly more, in the range of Rs 11 lakh-20 lakh. The Carens’ cheaper variants compete with the Maruti Ertiga (Rs 8.84 lakh-13.13 lakh) and Toyota Rumion (Rs 10.54 lakh-13.83 lakh), although its higher variants share some price and proposition with the Hyundai Alcazar, Tata Safari, and MG Hector.
