Kia India Sales 28,600 Units In January 2023 – Report
In January 2023, Kia India had its highest-ever domestic monthly sales of 28,634 units. The firm increased its sales by 48% compared to the same month last year, when it sold 19,319 units. At the same time, the company reached the 6.50 lakh unit domestic sales milestone in its first four years of existence.
Kia India’s top two models, the Seltos and Sonet, lead the company’s sales in January 2023, with 10,470 and 9,261 units sold, respectively. The Carens and Carnival followed, with 7,900 and 1,003 units sold, respectively. The latter also resulted in the Carens’ highest-ever monthly sales in the Indian market.
‘After completing CY2022 on a record high, we have experienced an encouraging start to CY2023 with sales of 28,634 units in January,’ stated Hardeep Singh Brar, National Head, Sales, and Marketing, Kia India. It indicates the high demand for our products, and we thank our consumers for their continuous love and support for Kia.

We showcased the Kia Concept EV9 and the KA4 at the recently ended Auto Expo, demonstrating our technological and creative capabilities. We also want to introduce PBVs this year in order to provide a convenient and diverse transportation experience for special services in India.’
