LML First Electric Bike To Debut On September 29

As the first spy photos have surfaced on the internet, LML’s comeback will most likely be with an electric bike. It has a bare-bones aesthetic, with an exposed trellis frame painted red and styling elements reminiscent of a small capacity adv. However, the presence of pedals and a small battery pack setup suggests that it will be used for a specific purpose.

The image also shows a vertically positioned LED headlamp cluster, a raised front fender with a beak design, red-painted split grab rails, and a single-piece flat seat. The handlebars are upright, and there is a two-part fuel tank that can be used for storage as well as a belt drive system.

The pedal arrangement can be seen on electric bicycles, which are becoming popular for cyclists who want to travel longer distances without exerting too much effort. According to reports, LML Electric is planning to raise up to Rs. 500 crore to establish a manufacturing facility and is currently preparing to launch its first vehicle in India in the second half of next year.

The second product will be a hyper bike, which will be a cross between a motorcycle and a scooter with an electric powertrain, and the third will be a dedicated e-scooter.

LML is also looking into establishing its own manufacturing plant over the next 18 months to two years, with a production capacity of nearly one million units per year by 2025. Over the next three to five years, the brand plans to open showrooms in every district in India in collaboration with a partner.
