Mahindra BE.05 Details Leaked

Pratap Bose, Mahindra’s Chief of Design, has published photographs of the production-ready version of the Mahindra BE.05 electric SUV. While the device displayed was still disguised, it provides some insights about the alterations made since the 2022 idea. Let’s take a closer look at the most recent preview.

One thing Mahindra has managed to accomplish is to keep the concept’s general design language. It’s a good thing, because it keeps the BE.05’s futuristic charm. The front shape remains unchanged, with the pointed bonnet, crisp and elegant LED DRLs, and slim bumper.

The profile contains various adjustments that make the BE.05 a reality. It now has five-spoke alloy wheels that seem more natural, and the cameras situated on the A-pillars have been replaced with true ORVMs. The wheel arches appear to be unclad, and the B-pillar is more noticeable here.

In the back, there appear to be no alterations to the production-spec design. The split rear spoiler and the extending rear end, which contains the slim LED tail lights that match the stylings of the LED DRLs, can be seen from the top.

The cabin is also likely to be comparable to the idea. Mahindra will keep the concept’s two 12.3-inch screens, layered dashboard design, squarish steering wheel, and overall cockpit appearance.

Minor adjustments to the cabin’s color palette are possible, and the futuristic cockpit design may be toned down slightly. The inside of the BE 05 has not yet been spotted, however, it is possible that it will differ depending on the variation.

Mahindra BE.05 Powertrain

The BE.05 will be the company’s first dedicated EV, built on Mahindra’s INGLO platform. The electric SUV will most likely have a 60kWh battery pack and a stated range of roughly 450km. Expect a two-wheel-drive system in this electric SUV, but all-wheel-drive is also available. Mahindra’s new battery technology supports quick charging of up to 175kW with a 5 to 80% charge time of just 30 minutes.

Mahindra BE.05 Launch & Price

The Mahindra BE.05 is planned to be released in October 2025, with a starting price of Rs 25 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete with the Hyundai Creta EV and the Tata Curvv EV.
