Mahindra Bolero Modified into a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen is up for Sale

One of Mahindra’s oldest vehicles that is still for sale is the Bolero. Mahindra has altered the car’s exterior throughout time in order to comply with safety and emission regulations. The Mahindra Thar is still a well-liked utilitarian car and is well-liked by both rural and urban consumers. Bolero has a number of modification options, some of which are shown on our website. The conversion or modification of a Bolero to resemble a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen is one of the most frequent modifications that we have seen on Boleros. Here is an example of a Mahindra Bolero that has been customised and is for sale.

A merchant posted the advertisement on their Facebook page. The Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen in these photographs is actually a modified G-Wagen in the colour white. The Bolero has undergone a thorough conversion to become a Mercedes-Benz. Many garages and workshops perform these modifications, and we have already highlighted many of them. On the outside, it does not appear to be a Mahindra Bolero from any direction.

The massive G-Wagen grille has been installed in lieu of the Bolero’s original front grille, starting at the front. At the centre of the grille is a huge Mercedes-Benz logo. The projector LED headlamps from the next generation G-Wagen have taken the place of the halogen headlamps. The headlamps have an LED DRL that resembles a ring. Below the headlamp, there is a little LED DRL strip as well.

This SUV’s bumper also appears to be different. It differs slightly from what we see on a G-Wagen. It appears that the workshop took a loan from another vehicle. This also includes LED fog lamps. This SUV’s hood has undergone a thorough overhaul. The complete kit for this modification was imported from Thailand, the seller says in the advertisement. A G-Wagen-style bonnet was added to or modified for the Bolero. Like on a G-Wagen, turn indicators are positioned adjacent to the hood.

When it comes to the side profile, the fenders are also constructed from a lightweight fibre. The new alloy wheels are located below the fender flares. In reality, the seller claims that these 20-inch alloy wheels are genuine Mercedes-Benz pieces, and that they alone cost about Rs 1.25 lakh. The wheels also have brand-new tyres on them. The Bolero’s side profile has also been totally reworked or altered to resemble the original G-Wagen. The car’s side profile’s broad black stripe contributes to its imposing appearance and boxy shape.

The ORVMs are from a Mercedes-Benz automobile, and foot boards have been fitted. The car’s rear appearance has all-LED taillamps in the G-Wagen design, as well as a tailgate mounted on a cover. This SUV’s interior has not undergone extensive customization. Just a touchscreen infotainment system with feed from the reverse parking camera and personalised seat covers are added.
