Mahindra Thar RWD Waiting Period Up To 18 Months – See Details
Last month, Mahindra released the Thar RWD at an introductory price of Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the first 10,000 orders. The four-seater lifestyle SUV is available in three trim levels, each with a petrol or diesel engine.
According to our sources, the waiting period for the recently announced Thar RWD diesel model ranges between 16 and 18 months in various parts of the nation. The petrol version of the RWD vehicle, on the other hand, has a three-month wait.
The Thar RWD is powered by a 1.5-litre diesel engine and a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. The former generates 117bhp and 300Nm of torque, while the latter generates 150bhp and 320Nm of torque. The diesel engine is linked with a six-speed manual transmission, whilst the petrol engine is connected with a six-speed automatic transmission.
