Mahindra Thar is the most demanding SUV in the domestic from ever since it’s launch in October 2020. Despite the long waiting period, the Indian car manufacturer Mahindra and Mahindra announced that the iconic off-roader has received 50,000 bookings milestone so far.
” Mahindra & Mahindra Automotive Division Chief Executive Officer Veejay Nakra said “We are overwhelmed with this unprecedented response that the All-New Thar has garnered; it has, in fact, surpassed all our expectations.
The iconic SUV launched by Mahindra and Mahindra Automotive is the new generation avtar last year, with experimenting more in order to make it bold off-roader to won urban people’s heart. So far, all the hard work by the company paid off , the kind of demand the SUV getting witness itself.
However, the company could not fulfill the massive demand from the consumer and failed to keep up with its production. Last year end the Thar SUV waiting period was almost nine months. However, in the beginning of this year Mahindra promised to about raising the production to meet the customer’s demand. The company is planning to brought the waiting period upto five months. Mahindra increased the production in its facility near Nashik, Maharashtra, also find all the best way to meet all the customer’s demand.
“We sincerely appreciate our customers’ patience and unwavering confidence in us while we are working with our suppliers to ramp up production in these challenging times,” Veejay Nakra noted.
The 2020 Mahindra officially launched in October 2020. The 2020 Thar completely developed on new ladder-frame chassis and gets hard-top, soft-top and convertible as options. Mahindra gets record breaking booking of 20,000 in the first month just after the launch and gets a title tag of most successful SUV launch of the year. 2020 Thar also one of the most safest vehicles on the Indian roads. Indian icon Thar secured four-star rating in the Global NCAP crash test.
