The car is also missing a front wheel. Inside, the airbags have worked perfectly but airbags are not much effective during multiple collisions. Two people were travelling at the time of the accident and both of them are safe.
Tyre bursts are dangerous
Tyre bursts can cause the driver to lose control of the car at high speeds in an instant. Regularly inspecting the tyres for cuts or wear and tear is always a good idea. Tyres should have a minimum tread depth of 1.5 mm to give vehicle grip.
Never drive too fast; speed limits are set after careful consideration of the road’s condition. SUVs and high speeds do not mix well. SUVs have higher body roll and are difficult to control during high-speed manoeuvres due to their considerable ground clearance.

Maintain the manufacturer’s recommended tyre pressure at all times. Under-inflated tyres can quickly overheat, while over-inflated tyres can cause the car to lose traction and skid. Tyre bursts are also caused by overloading. Overloading puts too much pressure on the tyres, which can lead to blowouts. A tyre rupture can also be caused by driving for long periods of time in hot weather without stopping.
But, if a tyre bursts, can you still drive the car? After a high-speed tyre burst, there’s not much you can do. You can, however, try to regain control of the vehicle by driving it in a straight line and gently slamming on the brakes.
