Tata Motors recently unveiled the Kaziranga Edition, a new variant of its Nexon SUV in India. The Nexon Kaziranga has luxury features, including an exclusive exterior and interior concept inspired by India’s rich topography and biological diversity, as well as a nod to Assam’s Kaziranga national park. The SUV has been launched with a starting price of Rs 11.79 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Kaziranga edition Nexon features the iconic satin black Rhino mascot on the front fenders and rides on jet black diamond-cut alloy wheels for a distinctive appearance. Its meadow beige body and piano black canopy are inspired by Kaziranga Park’s stunning grasslands.

Inside, the Nexon’s special edition features an earthy beige and black interior motif, as well as the same colour upholstery with the Rhino mascot brocaded on the headrests. Other distinctive features include ventilated front seats with Benecke Kaliko leather, auto-dimming IRVM, wild’s natural air-inspired air purifier, and a tropical wood finished dashboard.
The same 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines power the Kaziranga edition of the subcompact SUV. Customers can also choose between manual and automatic (AMT) transmissions.
