The Renault kiger key specifications and launch date unveiled.
After a long delay, Renault India is all set to enter the ever-growing compact SUV sector with there with the Kiger. Booking for the all-new Kiger has started at the dealerships and the price will be disclosed on the 15th of February. And the deliveries to begin from the month of March.
What will be the pricing of kiger?
The carmaker has already confirmed that the price of Kiger will be lower than that of the direct rival Nissan magnite. Nissan magnite is priced at around 5.49 lakhs for the entry-level variant, this means the Kiger will undercut this price and is expected to launch at 4.99 lakhs for the base variant which will go up to 8 lakhs for the top end. It will be the cheapest car in a 4 meter SUV.
What to expect?
Renault’s Kiger shares its platform with the Nissan magnite which Is the CMF-A platform. The new Renault compact SUV will be the first in the segment offering the PM 2.5 air filter. The engine comes with 2 options 1.0-liter naturally aspirated petrol and 1.0-liter turbo petrol along with 5-speed manual, AMT (naturally aspirated petrol only) or CVT (turbo-petrol only) gearbox.
it also has an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity and voice commands. Some other features include 4 airbags (driver, passenger, and 2 front side airbags), a rear parking camera, rear parking sensor, tri-octa LED pure vision headlamps.
