Most Popular Car Features in Indian Cars !!

All brands are offering a truckload of features with their cars. Features that were previously only available in high-end vehicles have now become common. Furthermore, premium vehicles increasingly include even more opulent features. These amenities not only increase the appeal of the cars to potential purchasers, but they also obscure other criteria such as reliability and brand loyalty. Such is the influence of comfort and convenience factors on consumers’ thinking. Because of these advantages, people are willing to pay more for a model that differs from the base model.

We’ve compiled a list of ten aspects that you should be aware of before purchasing a vehicle. These are the most popular vehicle features among Indians.

1. Touchscreen Infotainment System

The infotainment system is the first thing you notice when you enter a car’s cabin. It’s because of its location and the sleek aesthetic the touchscreen offers the rooms. These days, many entry-level cars are equipped with a touchscreen infotainment system. You may use Bluetooth to connect your phone and listen to music while driving, as well as navigate using maps that have been synced to the unit. To accommodate your smartphone, the infotainment system typically includes Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

2. Panoramic Sunroof

Indians, it appears, are enraged by panoramic sunroofs. It’s pointless to be reasonable when it comes to an indulgence, right? That is why the sunroof is one of the top three most desired amenities in a vehicle. It is so popular that some manufacturers are including a sunroof in vehicles as small as four metres.

3. Apple CarPlay And Android Auto

In today’s world, it’s impossible to survive without a smartphone. From basic functions like navigation to entertainment options, we have all become reliant on our cellphones in some way. It’s the same thing when you’re driving. Because you don’t want to talk with one hand on the wheel and risk breaking traffic rules or injuring your neck, having a car that will hold and receive your call is preferable, which is why most cars now support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

4. Music System

There is no such thing as a drive that is not enhanced by music. A good sound system adds to the enjoyment of the encounter. You can easily sync in your favourite music and listen to it using Bluetooth, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay. OEMs include some excellent systems with their vehicles, such as the Harman system in the Tata Tiago, the DYNAUDIO sound system in the Polo, and so on.

5. Automatic Climate Control

No more messing with the air conditioning dials to keep the temperature inside the car at a comfortable level. For that, you have an automated climate control system that adjusts the temperature based on the temperature outside and within the vehicle. It is becoming a standard feature in cars for our convenience.

6. Keyless Entry & Push Button Start/Stop

While the previous five features were primarily for our enjoyment, this one is a highly useful function. You won’t have to rummage around with your keys in your pocket or handbag when carrying bags of goods. As long as the key is handy, all you have to do to unlock your vehicle is pull the handle with the button or touch sensor in the handle. To turn the engine on or off, the push button inside does not require a key. Everything is controlled by a single button press.

7. Fast USB Charging Outlets & Wireless Charger

With your smartphone connected to your car all the time, it is logical that you will need to charge your phone battery. So you get fast USB charging outlets and wireless chargers with your car. Not all models come with wireless charging outlets though. But a USB charging outlet is pretty common with all base models. Some brands even have an option for charging your laptops and other devices with the appropriate connector cable.

8. Blind Spot Monitoring System

The Blind Spot Monitoring System employs a collection of sensors on the side and rear of the vehicle that will issue an audio or video warning if you enter a blind spot. When they cruise too near to your automobile, they detect vehicles in the neighbouring lanes. Some cars have cameras built into this system to provide you a picture of what’s going on. It is a useful and much-desired safety feature in automobiles.

9. Tilt & Telescopic Steering, Adjustable Seats

Driver seats in some cars come with height adjustability and steering wheel with tilt and telescopic adjustments. These are really great features to have in a car as they let you drive in style and comfort.

10. LED DRLs

LED lights are 90% more efficient than traditional lights and last far longer. LEDs are used in almost every car’s headlights and taillights. Daytime Running Lights, or DRLs, make cars more visible throughout the day. This will help you avoid any mishaps.
