MS Dhoni, former India cricketer and World Cup-winning captain, is also well-known for his impressive car collection. An online video claims that MS Dhoni recently purchased a new Kia EV6 electric crossover. The crossover is visible with temporary licence plates and in the Moonshine colour scheme, which is also the electric crossover’s official press colour.
Kia shipped 200 EV6 units to India as CBUs, or completely built units. The EV6 is currently sold out, but Kia claims that more units are being allocated for the Indian market.
In the Indian market, Kia offered two different versions of the EV6. A two-wheel-drive model with a front-mounted single motor was available and cost 59.95 lakh rupees (ex-showroom). It produces 350 Nm of maximum torque and 229 Ps of maximum power. The all-wheel-drive version, meanwhile, has an electric motor on each axle. The peak torque is increased to 605 Nm, and the power output is raised to 325 Ps. The cost of this variation is 64.95 lakh.
The Kia EV6’s battery pack has a 77.4 kWh capacity. According to ARAI, Kia claims a 708 km driving range. It is also possible to use 350 kW DC fast chargers to charge the electric crossover. The 800V architecture that Kia uses makes this possible. As a result, the Kia EV6 can charge from 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes if one can find the right charger.
Dhoni’s personal collection includes some of the most impressive motorcycles and cars. While there are some seriously capable four-wheelers, such as the Mercedes-Benz GLE, Land Rover 3, Audi Q7, and Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, there is also an impressive list of motorcycles, including the Yamaha RD350, Harley-Davidson Fatboy, BSA Goldstar, Kawasaki Ninja H2, Confederate Hellcat X32, Harley-Davidson Fatboy, and BSA Goldstar.
