The 2022 Vitara Brezza, a new version of Maruti’s subcompact SUV, has been spotted yet again. It was found without any camouflage at a dealer yard this time, and the photographs give us our first glimpse at the base model, as well as a unit in a new colour Maruti has introduced to the SUV’s colour palette.
Due to its steel wheels and lack of coverings, the device was characterised as a base model. Unlike the higher variations of the automobile that have also been spotted, the front bumper is all black, the headlamps are halogen and lack LED daytime running lights, the front fog lamps are missing, and the rear bumper is similarly all black.
- Lower variant Maruti Brezza spied, gets steel wheels without covers and misses out on rear washer-wiper.
- Higher variants come with LED lighting, alloy wheels and dual tone exterior paint.
- The 2022 Brezza has been spied in a new dark green colour, similar to Brave Khaki of the 2022 XL6.
- Its updated feature list is expected to include 360-degree camera, sunroof and 9-inch touchscreen.
- The 2022 Brezza is due to arrive in June.
Maruti will also offer a dark green colour option for the subcompact SUV. It appears to be the same Brave Khaki exterior paint choice that was debuted on the upgraded XL6. The green Brezza was spotted with LED lighting and a higher amount of trim.
A 360-degree camera, a larger 9-inch touchscreen, updated infotainment software, and up to six airbags are slated to be included in the facelifted Vitara Brezza. It will be Maruti’s first vehicle with a sunroof.
The facelifted Ertiga and XL6 will feature the same revised version of the 1.5-litre petrol engine with mild-hybrid tech as the 2022 model. It comes standard with a 5-speed manual transmission, but the automatic has a new 6-speed torque converter transmission.
The facelifted Brezza would almost certainly command a higher price than the present model, which ranges from Rs 7.84 lakh to Rs 11.49 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, Toyota Urban Cruiser, and Mahindra XUV300 will be its main competitors. The redesigned Brezza is expected to be unveiled in early June, with a launch planned towards the end of the month.
