The latest evolution of Singer Vehicle Design’s Turbo Study programme is on display. Instead of having exterior stylistic cues from the first-generation Porsche 911, these models combine design features from the 911 Turbo’s 930 and 964 generations.
This Singer sports a twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter air-cooled flat-six with an air-to-water intercooler, as the name implies. The mill produces 510 horsepower (380 kilowatts), up from 450 horsepower (330 kilowatts) in the preceding Turbo Study. Singer’s early models, including the DLS mill built by Williams Advanced Engineering, featured naturally aspirated powerplants.

The last Turbo Study’s buyer, according to Singer, requested it for grand touring, with features like power-adjustable, heated seats. This customer, on the other hand, was looking for a focus on performance. A six-speed manual transmission transmits the power. The car is equipped with a sport suspension that lowers the ride height. Carbon-ceramic brakes are used.
The body of this car is Turbo Racing White with a bright green dual stripe running down the centre. The minty colour may also be found on the Fuchs-inspired wheels’ central portions. An exposed carbon-fiber finish can be found on the front splitter, shark-fin intake, and rear spoiler. There aren’t any bumps.

This Singer’s interior has houndstooth cloth with green and black elements over a white background. There are a pair of lightweight carbon fiber seats with leather-trimmed bolsters. A cross-brace takes up the space usually for the rear seats.
When Singer debuted the original Turbo Study model, the company said that it already had more than 70 reservations for them. They are available in rear- or all-wheel-drive configurations, depending on the customer’s preferences.

The Turbo Study will be on display at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, which runs from June 23 to 26. It’s unclear whether the corporation is showcasing a brand-new model or one of the prior two launches.
Singer recently inked a deal with Porsche to have the German automaker supply engines for some of the boutique builder’s vehicles. Singer’s standards will be followed for the powerplants.
