Renault Kwid, Kiger and Triber 2023 Launched. All Have Self Diagnostic Emission Monitoring
In India, the complete Renault line is now RDE compliant and fulfils BS6 Phase 2 emission norms. The company has installed a self-diagnostic gadget in all of its vehicles to continually check pollution levels and other important emission devices.
The 2023 Renault Kwid comes standard with a tyre pressure monitoring system, ESP, hill start aid (AT only), and traction control. Renault has also introduced a new entry-level RXE version for Rs 4.69 lakh, and orders for the upgraded vehicle are now available. The manufacturer, however, has yet to disclose delivery dates. However, deliveries are expected to begin in the following months.
Furthermore, the Kwid lineup now has ORVM turn indicators, as well as steering-mounted audio and phone controls on some models.
Select Kwid models have ESP, HSA, traction control, and tyre pressure monitoring systems.
The 1.0-liter engine powers the 2023 Renault Kwid RXE version. It has ORVM turn indicators as well as steering-mounted audio and phone controls. There’s also a standard 800cc three-cylinder engine with 52bhp/72Nm and a five-speed manual transmission. The RXE version is available with either a five-speed manual or a five-speed automatic manual transmission.
Kiger and Triber in 2023
The electronic stability programme (ESP), hill start aid (HSA), traction control system (TCS), and tyre pressure monitoring system are now standard equipment on the 2023 Renault Kiger and 2023 Triber (TPMS). Chrome door handles and seat upholstery are now standard on the Triber.
According to Global NCAP, both the Renault Kwid and Kiger have a 4-star safety rating for adult occupants. Since its introduction, the Kwid has been a big hit in the Indian market, thanks to its SUV-inspired design concept.
In India, the Renault Kwid competes with vehicles such as the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10, WagonR, Celerio, and others. It even competes with vehicles such as the Hyundai Santro. While SUVs are gaining market share, compact vehicles and hatchbacks continue to be popular in India.
