Revolt RV1 gets Over 16,000 Bookings Within A Week

In just one week after its launch, Revolt Motors has revealed that it has received over 16,000 reservations for its RV1 commuter electric motorcycle. Now the most cheap model in Revolt’s inventory, the RV1 is the company’s first entirely new product in over five years. The RV1 is sold for an introductory sticker price of Rs 84,990 for the base model and Rs 99,990 for the higher-spec RV1+ variant.

A 6-inch digital LCD for instrumentation and a circular LED headlight are among the features of the RV1. Additionally, Revolt fitted the RV1 with a reverse function to facilitate moving the e-motorcycle through confined parking places. Revolt claims that the RV1 has the longest seat in the class and a noteworthy 250 kg payload carrying capability.

The RV1’s cycling components include a telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers, and disc brakes are mounted on both ends to provide braking power. Regarding the drivetrain, the RV1 has a 2.8 kW electric motor and two options for detachable battery packs. These include the larger 3.24 kWh battery pack on the RV1+, which boasts a range of 160 km on a full charge, or the smaller 2.2 kWh battery, which offers a range of up to 100 km. The RV1+ can be fully charged in one hour and thirty minutes and supports fast charging as well.
