Royal Enfield Scram 411 Launched In India Photos & Price List

The much-anticipated Royal Enfield Himalayan Scram 411 debuted in India today at a price of Rs 2.03 lakh, following repeated sightings. The bike’s ex-showroom pricing will vary depending on which of the seven bright color schemes is chosen. The new Scram 411, as well as the road-biased version of the Himalayan ADV, are available from the Chennai-based bikemaker.

The newly introduced Scram 411 will compete in the Indian two-wheeler market against the Yezdi Scrambler and Husqvarna Svartpilen 250. The bike’s design language includes a round, retro-style headlight, a single-piece seat, a completely digital circular instrument cluster, and an LED taillight. The Scram 411 rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels with dual-purpose tires, as the manufacturer designed it for modest off-roading and city traffic.

The design of the new bike differs significantly from that of the Himalayan, as it lacks a windscreen, a beak-like mudguard, and a luggage rack. The Scram 411 receives a normal mudguard, new tank shrouds, and a grab rail in 2022. To safeguard the engine while off-roading, this bike comes with a factory-installed sump guard. Its importance can be shown in the fact that replacing a sump guard is significantly less expensive than repairing a complete engine.

A long-stroke engine, similar to the Himalayan, powers the Royal Enfield Scram 411. So it’s a 411 cc air-oil cooled engine with a peak torque production of 32 Nm and a maximum power output of 24.3 horsepower. The engine is mated to a five-speed transmission. On both ends, disc brakes are in charge of braking, and dual-channel ABS adds to the safety. Telescopic front forks with 190 mm of travel and a rear mono-shock with 180 mm of travel manage the suspension.
