In August 2022, Tata Motors reported a total domestic tally of 47,166 units, which resulted in a YoY volume increase of 68% in India. Over 27,000 units were sold by Nexon and Punch collectively last month. With 15,085 units sold, the Nexon compact SUV also experienced its highest monthly volume total ever.
The Punch micro SUV also achieved a total of slightly more than 12,000 units in the past month, which is a record. The company sold 3,845 electric vehicle units in total, which represents a 276 percent YoY volume increase over the same period last year. Tata has recently amassed an impressive sales total.
Tata experienced a YoY sales increase of 6% in the commercial vehicle segment, selling a total of 31,492 units compared to 29,781 units during the same period in 2021. Recently, Tata unveiled the Jet Editions of its Nexon, Safari, and Harrier devices with updated features and cosmetic updates in time for the holiday season.

The homegrown auto industry’s leading brand is anticipated to maintain its momentum as the holiday shopping season’s favourable consumer sentiment should boost sales numbers. A variety of safety features, such as Driver Doze off alert, Panic Brake alert, and After Impact Braking, are included with the Harrier and Safari Jet Editions in addition to ESP.
