The KTM 390 Enduro R with Long-Travel Suspension will be launched in India soon.

Following the debut of the 390 Enduro R, KTM India has announced plans to introduce the global-spec version of the motorcycle in the Indian market. The current model, priced at Rs 3.37 lakh (ex-showroom), differs significantly from the version marketed internationally in terms of cost-cutting and market compatibility. KTM, on the other hand, has not announced a precise launch date for this type. With the current version positioned between the 390 Adventure and the Adventure X, the new model is expected to outperform the 390 Adventure in terms of pricing when it goes on sale.

KTM 390 Enduro R: Features

While the future iteration retains the Enduro R’s look and many of its features, it differs significantly mechanically. The new model will include an entirely redesigned long-travel suspension configuration, with 230 mm travel on both ends. For perspective, the current Enduro R in India has 200 mm of front travel and 205 mm of rear travel, which is identical to the KTM 390 Adventure. Other differences include a 272 mm ground clearance, which is 19 mm higher than the present model, and a seat height of 890 mm.

KTM 390 Enduro R: Engine

The new variation will be powered by the same 399 cc LC4c single-cylinder engine that is already utilized in the 390 Duke and 390 Adventure. It produces 45.37 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 39 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm, and is coupled to a six-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quickshifter.
