The Bajaj Chetak was one of the most powerful and dependable scooters of its time, and it is one of the most iconic names in the Indian automotive scene. The Chetak first appeared in the Indian market in 1972 and was phased out in 2005. The scooter competed with scooters such as the Vespa Sprint and proved to be one of the market’s most successful two-stroke engine-powered scooters.Â

Having said that, here is a 1993 Baja Chetak that has been fully Modified in Kerala that you should look at. To begin with, this restored Chetak 12 Volt Electronic was in extremely poor condition, with rust on the majority of the parts and components.
This Chetak, like the original, rides on 10-inch steel wheels with 100/90 tyres. This brings us to the wheel rims and hubs, which have been chrome plated to match the character of this retro scooter. To match the wheels, the front springs have also been chrome plated.
Moving forward, we notice similar chrome plating on the front and rear protective guard rails. The body panels, on the other hand, have been painted a deep blue with a high gloss coat. Other chrome-plated components, such as the fender linings, headlamp cowl, and ORVMs, look great from a distance.
In addition, a new stainless steel plate has been attached to the horn grille at the front. To prevent rusting, the floorboard now has aluminum plating and proper drain holes. The spare wheel, on the other hand, has been relocated to the front glove compartment to free up space at the rear and to give it a cleaner appearance.
For those who are curious, this scooter still has the same 145.5 cc, two-stroke, single-cylinder engine. This engine produced 7.5 bhp at 5000 rpm and 10.8 Nm at 3500 rpm of peak power and torque. This engine was mated to a 4-speed transmission and provided commendable performance.
