After years of facing headwinds, the two-wheeler segment is showing signs of recovery. Wholesales of two-wheelers increased 16.46% to 1,236,190 units in November 2022, up from 1,061,493 units the previous month. The Splendor, Activa, Shine, Pulsar, HF Deluxe, Access, Jupiter, XL100, Platina, and Unicorn were among the best-selling models during the month.
In November, Hero MotoCorp sold 265,588 Splendor motorcycles. During the month, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) shipped 175,084 Activa models. The Honda Shine ranked second with 114,965 sales.
In November, the Bajaj Pulsar model lineup sold 72,735 units. Hero MotoCorp shipped 65,074 HF Deluxes, while Suzuki Motorcycle India shipped 48,113 Access 125s.
TVS Motor Company reported Jupiter volume of 47,422 units in November, followed by XL100 volume of 34,465 units. The Platina was shipped by Bajaj Auto in 33,702 units, while the Unicorn was sold by HMSI in 28,729 units.
